KEVIN GOUMAS
KMG Hockey Development was established in 2020 by Kevin Goumas after a knee injury ended his professional career.
Kevin Goumas is a Long Island native that spent 4 years playing Division 1 at the University of New Hampshire.
After playing at UNH Kevin signed with the Philadelphia Flyers where he spent 2 season with their top affiliate the Lehigh Valley phantoms in the American Hockey League. From their he went on to play in Sweden where he helped promote Mora IK to the top league in Sweden playing under now head coach of the Chicago Blackhawks Jeremy Colliton.
After a long playing career Kevin found a passion for working with and coaching kids. He wants to take what he learned throughout his playing years from his coaches and teammates to help mold not only great players but great people.
Kevin works with many kids across all of Long Island from beginners to the professional level on skating, Skill development, stick handling and shooting with an emphasis on the LITTLE things needed to develop and progress their hockey careers.
